The Fristaden Lab Precision Scale has four adjustable feet on the bottom that let you in combination with the built-in bubble level, accurately level the scale so you can get precise measurements. You also want to set the scale up on a solid surface because the scale is so sensitive that any vibration will affect the measurement. Any air movement or even gently blowing on the scale will affect the measurement.The scale comes with a 500g weight for calibrating the scale after you have it set up. To see just how accurate the scale is I tested it out by placing the 500g weight on the center and then again on the edge of the tray and both times it gave an accurate measurement. I am very impressed with the quality and accuracy of this scale.

This is a high precision scale worth every penny. It came calibrated to correct weight. It has a calibration weight with it. It can be run on battery power or included charger.The scale has ability to measure into tents of a gram. I make sausages so high precision scale is a must for specific seasonings, such as curing salts. This scale was sensitive enough to detect a fan above (tenth of a gram was slightly moving due to air movement).Best of all, it doesn’t have a built in shut off. I have two other scales that have this feature, and there is nothing more annoying than a scale that turns off randomly in the middle of weighing things.Overall, I would highly recommend this scale to anyone who needs high precision scale.
