High Accuracy

The balance is built with a sensitive, lab-quality load cell to give you readings you can trust. The counting scale has a high, 0.5g precision. To ensure accuracy, the balance features a built-in level; adjustable leveling feet; an overload alarm; and error indication. The linearity error is ±1.5g.

One Year Warranty

Every American Fristaden Lab industrial counting scale undergoes a rigorous quality control testing process. We test for margin of error, linearity, repeatability, and four points testing. Our warranty period extends a full one-year. We will repair or replace your counting scale should there be a defect during the warranty period.

Lab Quality Construction

The precision instrument is built from lab-quality materials. The weighing pan is made from strong double-layer, stainless steel and the balance's body is constructed from tough, corrosion-resistant ABS plastic for additional durability. It has a large, high-definition LCD display for easy readability.

Not able to be used out of the box

It advertises that it will be able to be used out of the box. I found it not to be true. The one I bought was new. No matter what I did it wouldn’t stay at zero. The instruction manual is one of the worst I have ever seen for something that isn’t cheap. It doesn’t really go in depth on how to calibrate the scale. I contacted the manufacturer and they gave me a little depth on the process but I need a 6kg weight to calibrate. So now I have to buy a $50 weight just to use the product?No, I returned it. It seemed like it was made well but if if can be used out of the box I shouldn’t have to buy weights to calibrate and there was no guarantee that would have fixed the problem.

Thank you for yor feedback. While every unit is factory-calibrated, the extremely sensitive load cells can occasionally be affected by vibrations during shipping. If a scale isn't behaving as expected, we typically recommend a quick recalibration to 'reset' it to its new environment. Serious lag time when weighing any type of ingredient!

I purchased this item because of its reported accuracy and "precision". Much to my surprise, the actual lag time when measuring poured liquids makes weighing liquid so very difficult. This doesn't only apply to liquids of course, even dry ingredients, i.e. flour, yeast & salt, must be poured extra slow and you must wait the 2 seconds for the scale to catch up before either adding more or removing the excess.I was more than a little surprised given the .5g accuracy listed.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the response time; however, please note that our counting scales are specifically designed for piece counting and unit measurements rather than liquid weighing. Because of this specialized functionality, the internal processing may not reflect the real-time flow of liquids or fine powders accurately, and we recommend using a precision scale for those specific applications.

Excellent. Accurate, precise, and easy to use.

I've been using this scale for nearly a month now. It is very accurate and properly calibrated. Checked it against some calibration weights that I have, and it is perfect to it's specified precision. My unit changes between grams, kilograms, lbs, and oz with no difficultly, though you do have to press (and hold!) the MC button for what feels like an awkwardly long time.... maybe 10 seconds? It gets there in the end.All in all, this scale does exactly what it says at what seems to be a very good price considering the very high accuracy, precision and capacity of the product.
