I started Fristaden Lab in 2013 when I noticed a gap in the market. There was a growing demand for affordable, dependable lab equipment, but few companies meeting this standard. 

I started small, with just $100, shipping our first products out of a studio apartment in Chicago. My girlfriend at the time, now wife, joined the team, and together, over the past decade, we built the brand we have today. We now have a team working with us, thousands of customers across the world, and have added two kids, but at heart, we’re still the same scrappy, family run business with something to prove.
